keetaec Posted March 30, 2005 at 12:00 PM Report Posted March 30, 2005 at 12:00 PM I've just typed "SHE 候鸟" in Baidu and got a list of mp3; so I downloaded it; then I went to the same place and clicked on 歌词 and got lyrics, but they're not to this song... in the chorus she says something like: nide ai gei ... something like she gave him something... Anyways, this is what I got in the lyrics: 候鸟 歌手:王杰 专辑:候鸟 候鸟 词曲:李子恒 给我一个栖所只要有梦可停泊 在你留给我的天空我可以永远有我 给我一个渡口只要有路可以走 so the question is: am I doing everything right or my horrible chinese cannot even detect that IT IS the correct lyrics to the same song? gougou Posted March 30, 2005 at 12:25 PM Report Posted March 30, 2005 at 12:25 PM Hmm, it says 歌手:王杰, 歌手 meaning singer, so I suppose that is not the SHE version. I had this problem with baidu before, sometimes they give you songs by different artists. I just googled it then, something like 歌词 + artist + title should give you useful results. Would like to help you there, but my connection is virtually nonexistent today, most Chinese pages don't open... BTW, in Chinese pop songs, you can be 99% certain that "ai" means love. Words of similar frequency include "kuqi", crying, and tongku "painful"... Well, I guess that says more about the songs I listen to than about Chinese music in general. Quote
