VIsa Extension

I am an Indian passport holder. I compleated my graduation in China from Guangxi Medical University by this December. My Residence Permit was valid upto 31st Derermber. After that University Delayed processing documents ,So they extended My visa to L visa for one month. But still they did not give my certificates and now they are not extending my visa also. So the question is how can I extend visa now? or I will have to do new visa from my home country to re enter?

I believe that from within China you can renew your L visa one more time. You are allowed 2 renewals. They are likely to just give you another month.

You can get one more L extension by going to PSB. You need to have 21000RMB in your Chinese bank account and a letter from the bank saying that you have 21000RMB or 3000USD in your account. You can get 30 days extension ( +one entry) with that or if your university can write a letter for PSB stating the reason of extension then you dont need to have 21000RMB in your account. I hope that helps.

I was under the impression those rules about money in the bank applied in Beijing - are you sure they're nationwide?

I believe roddy is right - I think the money in the bank is a Beijing thing only.

Thanks every one for replying. Today I got my visa and I found that the visa is valid upto 27th january . The nanning PSB issued F visa instead of L. But I need more one months visa for completing everything. So the question is how to extend F visa? how long?what kind of documents are needed?
