University Postgraduate Program?

Hello all,

As someone who have already received a Chinese Government Scholarship and is about to finish his study, I thought of continuing my study in here.

But, although i am currently in China and can freely go ask about the processes at the international office at my university, they are not being really helpful and I am still confused about one thing. What is this new University Postgraduate Program? Why is there even another program in addition to the Chinese Government Scholarship?

Today,when i asked at the office, they said if i want to apply directly through the university, my only choice is the University Postgraduate Program. If that is so, why can i still register at CSC website,apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and select my university as the dispatching authority(by putting in their agency NO)?

Oh and office said since University Postgraduate Program requires you to be not studying at a Chinese University at the time of applying,i will not be considered as the 1st choice.And this sucks...

I have seen some other people asking about this in the CSC thread but i think it is necessary to create new topic for this. Hopefully we can shed some light on the matter. Thanks!
