peterlkj Posted March 16, 2013 at 12:10 AM Report Posted March 16, 2013 at 12:10 AM Hi all, I will have an interview in the near future with a VC fund and I need to get up to speed on the specific vocab and usage of language in this field, and ideally get some experience using it all in context. I'd be happy to pay for some Skype lessons with the right teacher, or failing that to find some good self study resources. Thanks for any pointers! Quote
gato Posted March 16, 2013 at 12:47 AM Report Posted March 16, 2013 at 12:47 AM What level is your Chinese? If it's not a fluent at a business level, then it probably doesn't make sense to do the interview in Chinese, except as part of a brief test. As for vocabulary, you can try reading some articles on the China Venture site. They regularly collect interesting articles from the Chinese press on VC matters. After 20-30 articles, you should have a good enough set of vocabulary for interview purposes. Here is their site: http://news.chinaventure.com.cn/2-0-0.aspx Quote
