Kenny同志 Posted March 20, 2013 at 02:32 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 at 02:32 AM I've been using firefox for several months and for most of the time, I loved it. But now it's making me unhappy because when I open some of my favourite sites with it, it shows them in so messy a way that I have to turn to Chrome to find the mood to view the whole webpage. I was wondering if this is happening on my computer only or otherwise. screenshot
li3wei1 Posted March 20, 2013 at 07:17 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 at 07:17 AM I'm on firefox and I don't get that mess. Have you updated/reinstalled?
Kenny同志 Posted March 20, 2013 at 07:21 AM Author Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 at 07:21 AM Thanks for the feedback, Liwei. Yes, I updated it but that didn't help. I think I'll use Chrome for a while and see if the problem with firefox continues. If it does, I will consider a reinstallation.
Koxinga Posted March 20, 2013 at 08:43 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 at 08:43 AM Try to clear the history and download history. I had problems when those were too large. You could also try clearing the cookies or disabling add-ons. If nothing helps, you could create a new user profile (don't delete the old profile just yet, especially if you have important bookmarks or passwords stored).

roddy Posted March 20, 2013 at 10:15 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 at 10:15 AM Edited the title of this forum, I'd rather it wasn't used for general tech support queries.
arrow Posted March 21, 2013 at 02:27 AM Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 at 02:27 AM Actually your issue is not firefox specific. It happens when your browser failed to download CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) file. As mentioned above, I too recommend you to clear the browser cache of firefox manually and try again. To make sure of that, type about:cache in location bar and press Enter you should see the difference after you've done that correctly.
