LiLiKe Posted March 2, 2005 at 05:32 AM Report Posted March 2, 2005 at 05:32 AM Hi everyone! Ok so here is my problem: I love my life here in china, but since I am a vegetarian it is hard to get hold of nutritious (food, since my Chinese is still pretty weak. I am now at a point where I have lost 20 pounds in 6 months, and I was by no means a big man before (now I am down to 130 pounds, arghhh). I would be very glad if someone could list a few common vegetarian dishes for me so that I do not have to order the same thing every time I am at a restaurant (xihongshijidan, maladofu). If anyone could list the Chinese names of different vegetables that are used for cocking that would also be very helpful. And finally a question, does anyone know a good site that is dedicated to Chinese cooking. Where one could look up dishes that you actually can buy the things you need to make them. Thanks in advance! Erik Quote
