Can I decline admission/change my mind?

I want to apply for several year long language programs in China for 2013-2014, but I don't want to commit to anything by accident. For example, on Tsinghua University's application there is a section that asks for details of the person that will provide financial support for study at the school. Can I tentatively fill this in and submit the app, but change the financial supporter later or decide to go to another school altogether? I've never done this before so any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Yes you can do this. Technically you aren't committed to any one school until you turn up and pay your fees. Plenty of people apply to University and then later either cancel their registration, defer entry or simply don't show up to school registration.
