Japanese TV series

Before the Korean wave, we used to watch Japanese TV dramas. Now it is difficult to even get a copy of the new dramas in HK.

But I have managed to buy a set of "Orange Days" (橙色歲月) and really enjoyed it. 清新, 精緻, 雋永, 不老套, 很好看.

Do you watch Japanese TV series?

I used to be a couch potato but hardly watch TV now.

When I was kid, a Japanese Tv series named 阿信impressed me so much.

Hope to brush it up if possible.

j-dramas

爱的故事 aka Love Story

It is soooooooooooooo good!!!! i laughed so hard and went awww so many times!

and I realised that majority of j-dramas has half of the number of episodes of kdramas

another good one is

Love Revolution

But i watched Love Revolution like 5 years ago

I have watched "Orange Days" but quit it half the way. I could not stand the actress who is so self-centered even though she cannot speak.

Actually I prefer some Japanese youth movies like the five diving youths and the female schoolgirl Jazz Band (can't exactly recall both titles).

Just watched the NHK 2-hour made for TV movie "Kaze No Bon Kara".

Ghost story combined with father-daughter love. Strongly recommended. The background music is superb.
