Study duration on JW202

Hello,

I have received my JW202 for a four year course duration.Though my course duration is of four years the duration mentioned on my JW202 is only one year.

Is this normal or do I need to get it fixed from the university.

Between I am a self supporting student without any scholarships.

You'll renew at the end of the year - not sure what the exact procedure will be, but your university will walk you through it.

So at the end of year though the duration date of my study on JW202 is expired can I still extend my residence permit ? The date on the JW202 is June 2013 but my residence permit is valid till Sep 2013.

Also will the PSB refer to the JW202 while extending my residence permit.

I don't know exactly what will happen, but thousands of people do it every year. If you need a new form, the university will give you one.

Your school will just keep extending it for you. No need to worry.
