sinosplice Posted November 15, 2003 at 06:41 AM Report Posted November 15, 2003 at 06:41 AM So, most of you know that the latest version of the China Blog List is complete. (http://www.sinosplice.com/cbl/) I'd just try to get some feedback about a few small problems I'm having. 1. Unknown fields. What should I do if I don't know where a blog is located? Currently I have question marks in the blanks, but that looks bad, and it also comes up ahead of everything else in an alphabetical sort. 2. Staying current. Blogs come and go, change URLs, etc. If it's not a blog I read frequently, I have no way of knowing. It would be nice if other people informed me, but that rarely happens. I'd love to hear any other feedback. The blog submission form is coming soon. Quote
geek_frappa Posted November 29, 2003 at 08:58 PM Report Posted November 29, 2003 at 08:58 PM This is a cool site!! Question #1: the question ? might make people feel uneasy if they don't know where the person is exactly. i always click on the most descriptive entries. Question #2: what you probably need is a script that can give you a snapshot of the update blogs. sounds like something i could cook up... i'll see what i can do... Quote
Guest smile Posted December 15, 2003 at 01:03 PM Report Posted December 15, 2003 at 01:03 PM 1. For unknown fields. For example, if you want to find some information about the word "China", which means “中国”, you can type the character “中国”in a search engine. That's very easy. 2. For blog changing, I have no idea of it, either. Since I'm not very skillful in using the internet and maybe I didn't understand your problems well. You may write it in details, so that I can ask my friends. Quote
