A friend brought me a small ceramic dish, rectangular and deep, like the lid to a butter dish turned upside down, if you know what I mean, and I'm ashamed to admit I can't recognise the calligraphy on the side of it. The third character looks like 有, and the first could be 鱼, but beyond that I'm stumped, and I can't find any 成语 with those characters in those places.

Thanks!

It seems to be written from right to left. If read that way, 花有清香 would be my best guess. I could be wrong though. But the handwriting is not very standard.

Seems to be a part of a poem, used on vases and the like. ie.

Incidentally, does doing a Google image search on the phrase turn up a very inappropriate image for everyone, or is it based on my browsing habits?

Doh! Not only can I not recognise calligraphy, I can't even read it the right way around! Humility lesson for me. Even if I was looking the right way, I never would have got 香 for that squiggle on the left. Or 清 for that matter. Thanks, folks.
