Chinese subtitles for English shows?

Hi! I'm looking for a site where I can watch English TV shows with Chinese subtitles, preferably streaming sites. I used to go to Tudou/Youku but now I always get a message that videos are only available in mainland China . (I'm in Canada, btw.) I've tried Googling the Chinese names of English shows and found videos on random Chinese host sites, but again I can't play them. Can anyone link me to a good site?

Maybe you can ask some overseas students. They should know some legal streaming sites resources.

Subtitles can be downloaded freely at shooter.cn, you will have to figure out the rest part on your own tho.

Have you tried the peer-to-peer networks, such as Bit Torrent and Emule?

Or maybe getting direct download links from the file sharing forums?

I used to that for American shows. The fan subbers usually have subtitled versions uploaded about a day after they've first aired in America or Canada.

Lately, I've given up on that because I want to see the shows as soon as possible so have forgone the Chinese sub route.

Now, I just download what is fastest. I'm in the process of gathering the entire Star Trek franchise. All the TV series' and movies. I get them in the format for mobile devices. Small footprint, extremely fast and surprisingly watchable.

My friend said that there is a work around for that but I haven't looked into it.

I don't know if PPS still works or not? It used to have a lot of shows but recently not as many shows as it used to have.
