Del Posted April 12, 2013 at 12:51 PM Report Posted April 12, 2013 at 12:51 PM Hi, i'm currently working in Hunan Province but have been offered a job in Beijing to start late June. apart from an insanely detailed background check I have to get documents together for the residence permit etc for Beijing. I've been asked to have my original degree certificate with a stamp on it. I have never ever heard of this, nor has my university. The university are willing to provide a stamped letter confirming my completing the course but this doesn't seem to be acceptable. I also don't understand how the original degree certificate is not acceptable with the official signatures on it already. Can anyone shed some light on this please, or offer advice? The recruiter is not great with explanations. Quote

Cat Jones Posted April 15, 2013 at 01:37 AM Report Posted April 15, 2013 at 01:37 AM Yes, I just submitted my degree cert as it was. Most have the University seal or stamp on them already as the poster above suggests. Quote
