XiaoZhou Posted April 13, 2013 at 10:44 AM Report Posted April 13, 2013 at 10:44 AM I'm looking for a website where I can search an individual chinese word and I can download an MP3 of the pronunciation I've often used google (http://www.labnol.org/internet/download-audio-pronunciation-words/21064/) for English pronounciation, and I can listen online to pronounciation on http://www.nciku.com, but I want to download the audio so that I can put it on my Anki cards so that I hear it said by a native speaker every time I review a word. I use Forvo sometimes, but Forvo has a limited number of words and the quality is sometimes not very good. Any other recommendations, or is Forvo the best option for me? Quote
semantic nuance Posted April 14, 2013 at 08:06 AM Report Posted April 14, 2013 at 08:06 AM You may try 常用國字標準字體筆順學習網. The website tries to help people write a character with correct stoke orders. You type a character by using 注音(zhuyin), 筆劃 (stroke order), 部首 (radical), or 拼音 (pinyin). Then a native speaker of Chinese will read out that character with its information about zhuyin, stroke orders and its radical. I think if you try to find the pronunciation of a specific character, this website may be of help. Quote
imron Posted April 14, 2013 at 11:38 AM Report Posted April 14, 2013 at 11:38 AM Not sure if this is an option, however Pleco has native speaker recordings for over 30,000 words. Quote
