teachandlearn Posted April 18, 2013 at 11:04 AM Report Share Posted April 18, 2013 at 11:04 AM Just going through Character text for Colloquial Chinese. I'm just trying to learn as many characters as I can really, but I'm kind of confused with the meaning in these sentences. 1.他哥哥人好像不错。 2.他弟弟身体不错,人也精神。 3.老张人高,文化也高。 So my initial guess is that they mean "as a person" but I'm not very sure. creamyhorror Posted April 18, 2013 at 12:19 PM Report Share Posted April 18, 2013 at 12:19 PM Think of it as "his person"/"his personality". 老张人高,文化也高。 The Zhangster, he's as cultured as he is tall.
