New Members Artai Posted May 5, 2013 at 11:42 PM New Members Report Share Posted May 5, 2013 at 11:42 PM Hello everybody. I told a friend of mine I'm a first year Chinese language student at university, and he sent me a photo of one of his vase. I could only figure out the old 同 and an uncertain 内, then I utterly gave up with the desperate MDBG + Uncle Hanzi combination (ノ´д`) What are the other characters? Thank you for your replies. New Members Artai Posted May 6, 2013 at 09:00 PM Author New Members Report Share Posted May 6, 2013 at 09:00 PM Thank you very much Hofmann. I'm very impressed to read some of them. How did you recognize the last two characters? There's practically no similar trace of the last one in the seal script fonts I found online; I can only graphically get the 牛 + 巾 part, which apparently fills just 1/4 of the whole logogram...! That 治 is a variant with a little 止 below?
