mvdberg112 Posted May 8, 2013 at 04:49 PM Report Posted May 8, 2013 at 04:49 PM The backup/restore feature does not appear to include notes (or audio file or image path). Is this as designed, and if we want this in the backup to be a feature? Or should it be in the backup (and restore), and is it the best to report as a bug? Any other users' opinion: is it usefull or even critical to have them included or perhaps only nice to have? Tx. Sample backup file (the first entry had a note included, saying something like 'This is from Tingli', but that note is not in the file below): [[Tl1-L30]] 情況 情况 qing2 kuang4 /situation/circumstances/state of affairs/CL:個|个[ge4],種|种[zhong3]/ false 0 0 0 05-09-13 24:31 計劃 计划 ji4 hua4 /to plan/plan (project/program/to plan/to map out/CL:個|个[ge4],項|项[xiang4])/ false 0 0 0 05-09-13 24:31 PS: is it possible to make the code box smaller? BTW: since I discovered that the whole database is stored in user.script in the <user>\zdt folder, I just copy the whole file as a backup, but do not know what the consquences are. For example, whether such a file can be safely copied to another computer. Quote
kaya Posted May 9, 2013 at 08:14 PM Report Posted May 9, 2013 at 08:14 PM Yes, it can be copied safely to another computer. Yes, I think it should be exported as well. Please open a feature request at sourceforge, so we don't forget it. Quote
