mvdberg112 Posted May 12, 2013 at 01:31 PM Report Posted May 12, 2013 at 01:31 PM Odly, I cannot reach some links to the ZDT website from China, but can reach others. It seems that any http://zdt.sourceforge.net/............ is unreachable and https://sourceforge.net/projects/zdt/ too. But https://sourceforge....acker/index.php............. and a few other work fine. When I turn on the proxy server, all work fine. Internet is often flaky down here... Anybody has similar experiences? And, let's say, if the Great Wall blocks a site, is there way to request a block to lifted? Or to ask what needs to be changed in order to have the ban lifted? Quote
roddy Posted May 16, 2013 at 09:55 AM Report Posted May 16, 2013 at 09:55 AM I seem to remember that Sourceforge has been blocked in the past, due to hosting anti-censorship tools - don't recall which ones. Not sure why some pages would be working and others not - are they perhaps redirecting to different subdomains / servers or something? Quote
mvdberg112 Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:57 PM Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:57 PM Indeed, definitely a difference between the sub-domains. Have to live with this behavior, I guess. Not possible to request a block to be lifted? Quote
roddy Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:59 PM Report Posted May 16, 2013 at 12:59 PM I seem to remember reading way back that you can file requests via your ISP. I look forward with interest to reading about your long and futile struggle Quote
