New Members kaysik Posted May 13, 2013 at 03:10 AM New Members Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 at 03:10 AM I have a sentence Anki deck I've been making for about a year now. Today "我对这个很好奇。" came up but I have no memory of adding this sentence or where I found it. The translation I have is "I am very curious.", but when I read it to me it reads like "Me, towards this, very curious" or "I'm very curious about this". Since I can't remember where the card is from I can't check the context or see why the translation is "I'm very curious" to check. Maybe its a cut and paste fail and I just cut off the "about this". Or maybe I'm missing some gramatical construction that changes the reading? It would be great if someone who's mandarin isn't horrible can check for me? Thanks

LiScing Posted May 14, 2013 at 12:49 PM Report Share Posted May 14, 2013 at 12:49 PM Well, you can learn some English, macshi. In English, What opinion do you have about this matter? What's your opinion about this matter? What opinion do you have regarding this matter? What opinion do you have towards this matter? What opinon do you have with respect to this matter? all mean exactly the same thing. In my English dictionary, it lists among the the definitions of towards: with respect to; as regards.
