sbelous Posted May 21, 2013 at 11:46 AM Report Share Posted May 21, 2013 at 11:46 AM This forum already has a great community and is a growing storehouse of knowledge for Chinese learners. But, does anyone know of any Twitter communities that are similarly awesome? That is, are there any accounts to follow that provide great content based on retweeting their followers' great content? I guess I'm looking for a way to interact with the chinese-learning community via Twitter since it's something I already use and helps keep everything in one place. Of course, I think forums will always be a bit more close-nit and detailed, but its a lot more difficult for me to check/post on a regular basis while on-the-go. Popular Post Olle Linge Posted May 22, 2013 at 01:20 AM Popular Post Report Share Posted May 22, 2013 at 01:20 AM I'm spending quite a lot of time reading about learning Chinese, both online and offline, and share most of the cool things I find. I also do my best to share whatever interesting things other people find, either related to Chinese in particular or at least language learning that can be applied to Chinese. I don't share much actual language (sentence of the day, idiom of the week or whatever), there are simply too much of that already. My Twitter account: @HackingChinese. I also wrote an article about other interesting Twitter accounts for Chinese learners (31 Twitter feeds to help you learn Chinese), similarly focused on learning Chinese, sorted into "learning Chinese", "learning languages" and "learning in general". That post also contains some suggestions if you actually want to read more tweets in Chinese rather than in English about Chinese. Enjoy!

(I assume it's Sina Weibo?) @sbelous: You may wish to browse to my blog once in a while (http://unlazify.wordpress.com). I have a recurring weekly segment, where I aggregate and filter through some of the best Tweets for studying Chinese.
