Love in the Buff

So, I just saw this movie called "Love in the Buff". That's its Chinese to English translation.

春嬌與志明 ==> Love in the Buff

Now, I've never heard this phrase or expression in any English context. Please can someone explain was it meant.

I looked it up and found that "in the buff" can also mean naked, does Love Naked or Naked Love make sense?

Love in the Buff is the sequel to Love in a Puff, so the English name is a take off of the original film's name. "In the Buff" in this context does mean naked, but FWIW there is no nudity in the films. The Chinese titles of the films are the character's names in different order: 志明 與 春嬌 and 春嬌 與 志明.

why not just make it Chun jiao and Zhi ming?

Because it is a Hong Kong movie. Most Hong Kong people's names are not romanised using Hanyu Pinyin.

Love "Naked" or in the buff. I think it could mean how the movie shows love at its deepest, at it's most bare... with no "clothing" concealing what it really is as this movie is emotional and delves into it.

if someone is naked you can see all the imperfections and subtleties. If love is naked you get the same thing, but can also see the beauty etc etc etc

does this make sense? also, there is no evidence of the characters not having love in the butt... so perhaps
