iam facing a weird problem in taobao and tmall payment

how are you

i have a problem in tmall.com and taobao.com

i think they are same site but with different regulations

the problem is that i can't use my Credit card in taobao.com while i can pay at tmall.com

you can clearly notice VISA option not avilable in taobao.com

did any one know why ??

Not every shop takes every creditcard. I used to have trouble buying plane tickets because the Chinese website in question didn't accept my particular brand of credit card. I suppose you could try emailing or calling Tmall and asking why, but it's probably easier and more effective to look for another method of payment, or ask a friend with a different credit card to help you.

Last summer I gathered some information on Taobao and found this -> http://www.taobao.com/go/chn/oversea/taobao_accept_oversea_credit_card_2012.php?ad_id=1101004337acf90b7b90&am_id=&cm_id=&pm_id

So my impression is that it should accept payment by international credit cards except those issued in the USA.

Tmall I think is at least intended to be selling also to Taiwan and Hong Kong, which might explain it.
