Is this introduction grammatically correct?

大家好!我叫切但阿南德。名字是切但,姓是阿南德。我住在印度。我的城市叫帕蒂亞拉。我會說旁遮普語、印地語、英文、世界語和不好的中文。我喜歡看書和學習數學。

Hi everyone! I am Chetan Anand (tʃeːˈtən ɑːˈnənd). My first name is Chetan, and the surname is Anand. I live in India. My city is called Patiala. I can speak Punjabi, Hindi, English, Esperanto, and a little Chinese. I love to read books and study mathematics.

I would like to read how other members of this forum introduce themselves in Chinese. Please write a few sentences about yourself if you want!

Thank you!

Corrected version: 家好!我叫切但·阿南德。我住在印度。我的家鄉叫帕蒂亞拉。我會說旁遮普語、印地語、英文、世界語和一點中文。我喜歡看書和學習數學。

Notes:

"我叫切但阿南德。" Foreign names in Chinese are normally separated by a small dot between the first name and surname.

"名字是切但,姓是阿南德。" This is redundant, you've already given your name. Instead, you could say 我的朋友们一般称呼我切但 (my friends normally call me Chetan). If you want to say "my surname is...", you should say 我姓 instead of 我的姓是, as 姓 is a verb (to be surnamed).

Thank you! I couldn't find a way to insert that dot. I have found a way - the Cangjie (倉頡輸入法) code is "zxaf" (·). 我叫切但·阿南德。Found it here.

And thank you about 姓 I didn't know it could be used as verb.

謝謝!

With Google Pinyin IME you can get it with the key that on my (UK) keyboard is marked as:

¬

` ¦

"但" is not used in name transliteration, so the corresponding character for your name should be "切坦•阿南德".

That dot is called 间隔号 “·”

Well too many 我 in the whole sentence, you can omit some like this:

大家好!我叫切但·阿南德,姓阿南德名切但,住在印度帕蒂亞拉。我會說旁遮普語、印地語、英文、世界語和一点儿中文,爱好是看書和學習數學。

Hope it will help you.
