Help with Chinese handwritten letter

A couple of days ago I received this beautiful letter from an acquaintance, and I love how it is written, vertically, probably using a brush, on rice paper... However, either because he uses traditional characters or simply because it's hard for me to read handwritten Chinese, I don't understand half of the characters. On the top right hand corner you can se the transliteration of my name （艾吉玛）, and then I understand 你……寄给我……火车票……实在非常漂亮……非常感谢……你努力学习中文和中国文化。毕竟已中国文化为本（？）东亚文化有很……吸引人

Can you help me with the parts I'm missing? (I don't need any translation of the letter, only the characters).

Thank you very much, Skylee! Now all the characters make sense. I don't think your comment is rude, I'm not an expert in Chinese calligraphy, I can't judge his handwriting from an artistic point of view, so it's very interesting to know somebody else's opinions about it.

Native Chinese people are so critical with each other! I'm so glad I'm just a bloody 老外 so I get extra benevolent judgement whenever I say or write something...

Notice, a "*" means I didn't know which charactor it is. Some traditional Chinese charactors written in "running script" or "cursive script" looks like Simplified ones, such as "謝" and "請", they are written to "谢" and "请". I not sure all this are absolutely right, at least the signature parts are difficult to recognize.

The writer, like many, is mistaken that any writing done with a brush or a brush-like writing instrument is 書法. What you have there is just somebody's sloppy brush writing. 書法 is "writing rules," i.e. rules that tell what you can and can't do when writing, regardless of instrument.

Me? I'm pesky and merciless about other people's German, and people's Latin handwriting, and a pet peeve of mine is the atrocities sold as "calligraphy" . Why are you asking?
