bluetortilla Posted July 3, 2013 at 05:17 AM Report Share Posted July 3, 2013 at 05:17 AM I've checked it out and can't find it. How do you say 'I want to add x yuan to my sims card.' Until now I've just been showing the person my cell phone and phone number and saying, '一百块。' It works but I'd like to have a little more finesse and sound less like a 'blockhead' (ha ha get it? sorry, never mind). I wouldn't guess one would use the term 'I'd like to buy some minutes.' Or would you? Thanks.

Kenny同志 Posted July 3, 2013 at 05:48 AM Report Share Posted July 3, 2013 at 05:48 AM A polite way to say this is: 麻煩充一百塊(話費) (whether you had eye contact with the clerk or not) If you want to give an informal touch, say 充一百塊 after having eye contact with the clerk. Say thanks when you're done in both cases.
