I have been told its to do with 8 immortals?

I was wondering if the bit of chinese writing in red was the artist and what the writing actually says.

Its silk with embroidery on it

The four big characters in black are 八僊過海 - eight immortals crossing the sea/ocean. 僊 is a variant of 仙.

The red characters are 甌繡, the name of a type of embroidery originated in Wenzhou.

And the picture on the right is upside down.
