New Members silentsnow Posted July 19, 2013 at 07:13 PM New Members Report Posted July 19, 2013 at 07:13 PM Hello! I will be starting a internship in Beijing soon and was told to practice some business talks for dinner and lunch meetings. I was wondering if there are ressources somewhere, where I can find some example texts for business talks. My Chinese level is intermediate and I can manage normal convos but I feel I should brush up on the business vocabs, so I can talk naturally. ^^ Any help is appreciated. Quote
JustinJJ Posted July 20, 2013 at 02:39 PM Report Posted July 20, 2013 at 02:39 PM I not sure where you would find a set 'talk' but I don't know if learning a talk would be the best way to practise. I imagine just reading the same topic of a newspaper article each day and learning 10 words a day from the article you read to slowly build your vocab is useful (seems to work for me). You will see those words repeated all the time and will know what to say a bit more easily in conversation. On this forum there is a thread about setting up news.google.com to display topics of your choice. Quote
