耳耳语语 Posted July 22, 2013 at 04:03 PM Report Posted July 22, 2013 at 04:03 PM Hi, I'm learning the HSK vocabulary with the books serie : 新HSK词汇突破 (Xin HSK cihui tupo). Each word comes with two exemple phrases . (Level 5 : 1200 new words, 2400 phrases). What I would love would be an MP3 of these phrases, to drill along in the subway. I feel the words are really easier to remember with a phrase providing context. For now i've just found a website selling MP3 for the HSK words (Lingomi) but no phrases. Do you know a ressource that would provide this kind of content, chinese-phrases on MP3, arranged by HSK level ? Thanks ! 耳耳语语 Quote
Guest realmayo Posted July 23, 2013 at 02:17 PM Report Posted July 23, 2013 at 02:17 PM I looked for something years ago and found nothing. One thing I considered -- but never got around to -- was finding a native speaker who offers Skype classes and seeing if he or she would record them for me. I figured they were set up with a microphone already, and had an hourly pay rate. But like I say, I never took it further. Maybe you could team up with other people here to fund it. Quote
Silent Posted July 23, 2013 at 05:40 PM Report Posted July 23, 2013 at 05:40 PM If it has to be the phrases of the book recording is probably the easiest way to go. If you just need recorded basic phrases you might consider cutting up some audio books and/or audio lessons and pick out what suits you. Many books contain audio cd's now. there are many resources on the web free and paid for audio courses, audio blogs etc Quote
耳耳语语 Posted July 24, 2013 at 10:26 AM Author Report Posted July 24, 2013 at 10:26 AM The idea would be, like in the mentionned collection : each new hsk word inside a short sentence where all the other words are from an easier or equal hsk level. I tried to record myself, but my accent is way too poor. I've asked http://lingomi.com/ if he would consider do something with phrases. I've also found this collection, which has hsk-focused phrases, but not organised by complete vocabulary lists : http://www.chinazest.net/liandmehsk.html Quote
耳耳语语 Posted July 28, 2013 at 09:17 PM Author Report Posted July 28, 2013 at 09:17 PM Ok i respond to myself again I found these : large numbers of phrases audio (but not "one phrase/one new hsk word" as i wish) (and I don't like the fact that english translation is included) * "GMS Chinese fluency module" on Glossika : 1000 phrases on MP3 (40$) x 10 modules expected. * "3800 Useful Chinese Sentences" on Youtube. (actually there is about 600 phrases now i guess) Quote
耳耳语语 Posted October 21, 2013 at 08:18 AM Author Report Posted October 21, 2013 at 08:18 AM An update about what i recently found : * "史上最強的英語會話8,000" (It's a taiwanese book, found via the Heisig forum http://forum.reviewingthehanzi.com/viewtopic.php?id=9579, and that i bought through the parisian library "Le Phénix") So it's 8000 sentences on MP3 (in english and mandarin) that i paid 33 €. Level is intermediate and higher. The book is written in traditional characters but the audio is mandarin. * I also found on Chinese-forums the reference of "Taoteba", 1690 chinese sentences with MP3. I don't know if it's possible to upload them all at once. http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/with_audio/cmn http://www.chinese-forums.com/index.php?/topic/30757-flashcards-using-sentences-with-audio/ There is a deck on Anki, unfortunatly the audio-only-archive-version is down. https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/313163681 Quote
Yadang Posted April 9, 2014 at 11:56 AM Report Posted April 9, 2014 at 11:56 AM There is a deck on Anki, unfortunatly the audio-only-archive-version is down. https://ankiweb.net/.../info/313163681 The audio for the Anki deck can be found in post # 30 here. Download the file and unzip it. In the folder is another folder. In that folder is all of the mp3 files which you can copy and paste into the media folder of your anki collection. There are about 30 or so extra audio sentences which can be deleted using the "check media" tool. I haven't used the deck at all and only browsed through some of the sentences. A lot of the audio is fine, but some of it varies a little or the front of it is a bit cut off. But these can be deleted and I think you'd still have a pretty good-sized deck. I think the Anki deck uses Simplifed Characters, Pinyin and English... If the audio link stops working at anytime for some reason, contact me and I can upload a new one (the one that I linked to isn't mine, but I have them all backed up separately). 1 Quote

Hi @Yadang, The link is not working anymore. Can you re-upload the file for the audio version of Anki, please? Do you have it for each level? Thank you in advance Quote
