I got aware of the existence of this beautiful instrument when I researched about the soundtrack of the film "House of flying daggers". Most of the melodies in this film are played or at least assisted by the instrument Erhu. I absolutely love the sound of this beautiful instrument. Could anybody suggest some different soundtracks that are enriched with erhu playing ?? or maybe some CD's of great Erhu players? Solo artists are ok, but better orchestras :=) Looking forward to get some nice suggestions. thank you Marcel Quote

She was performing with the Central Conservatory Chinese Orchestra. They are the students from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing who are majoring in traditional instruments. Maybe you can buy some music online, google Yu Hongmei. Quote
