Kenny同志 Posted August 5, 2013 at 04:45 AM Report Posted August 5, 2013 at 04:45 AM Are you looking for a language partner? If so, feel free to send me a PM. I am Chinese and I am now looking for someone from England to help me with my pronunciation. In return, I can help with his/her Chinese. 1 Quote
roddy Posted August 5, 2013 at 09:14 AM Report Posted August 5, 2013 at 09:14 AM Off the top of my head sites that have been mentioned include italki, lang-8, and...oh, there's loads of them. Google language exchange. 2 Quote

New Members lawlow Posted August 12, 2013 at 09:58 PM New Members Report Posted August 12, 2013 at 09:58 PM You can try italki, conversationexchange.com, mylanguageexchange.com. I've tried the last 2 with some success, but am still trying to find someone to speak with in person. Talking with people across time zones is cool, but not very convenient. Quote
XiaoZhou Posted August 15, 2013 at 05:50 PM Report Posted August 15, 2013 at 05:50 PM You can also try www.verbling.com, which is like Chat Roulette, but with a focus on language learning and without the perverts. It you can already speak, and you need to be forced into a situation to converse, then it is great. 1 Quote
Madelynne Posted August 15, 2013 at 07:42 PM Author Report Posted August 15, 2013 at 07:42 PM focus on language learning and without the perverts. Yep I have noticed them unfortunately-thanks for the website Quote

szcube Posted September 9, 2013 at 01:55 PM Report Posted September 9, 2013 at 01:55 PM sharedtalk or livemocha~excellent language exchange website~ Quote
Kelby Posted September 30, 2013 at 01:28 PM Report Posted September 30, 2013 at 01:28 PM I second livemocha as a language exchange resource. I spent a week on there and now have five people bombard me every time I sign into my Skype. I have a buddy who's had some luck using WeChat for iPhone and Android to randomly find people, although I'd be careful using it as I hear it's random chat feature doesn't always yield... kosher results.
