mandarinocks Posted August 6, 2013 at 07:51 AM Report Posted August 6, 2013 at 07:51 AM Hey guys. My Chinese visa is about to run out. I'm Australian living with my Chinese girlfriend in China. Can I just simple go to Hong Kong and get another 3 months? I'm not working here. Just living here with my girlfriend. I work in Australia. I have a multiple entry visa at the moment. Which was 6 months. Thanks for any help. Quote
msittig Posted August 6, 2013 at 03:32 PM Report Posted August 6, 2013 at 03:32 PM As I understand it HK is always a crapshoot, given the mix of changing visa rules, shifting political winds, and visa agencies of varying reputations. This being mostly a language forum, you'll probably have better luck asking at lifestyle-oriented forums like those on shanghaiexpat.com or asiaxpat.com Quote
ChTTay Posted August 7, 2013 at 01:14 AM Report Posted August 7, 2013 at 01:14 AM If you go to Hong Kong for this, feedback here please http://www.chinese-forums.com/index.php?/topic/41414-the-hong-kong-visa-topic/ I've heard long L visas are hard to come by in HK these days. No first hand experience though, not even friends experience...just what i hear. Crapshoot is accurate then I guess! Quote
