Hello, I am just starting college next and I would like to transfer in the future ( after 4 semesters) to a chinese college and since China has a strong college Basketball league I would like to combine studies with basketball but I read on wikipedia that to be able to play on the league you have to be an amateur player, is that true?

I would like to try to professionalize in China after college, is there any kind of draft in the chinese basketball league? If I study in a college from another country can I still try to enter in the chinese basketball draft?
