RCH Posted August 27, 2013 at 06:52 PM Report Posted August 27, 2013 at 06:52 PM I'm hoping that someone can read the characters in this 19th century ink/brush painting of a mountain landscape. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Quote

RCH Posted August 28, 2013 at 06:27 AM Author Report Posted August 28, 2013 at 06:27 AM Thank you, Skylee -- that's fantastic! I suspect that the painting I have is from 1913 since, going by the name you provided, I found another painting by the same artist, dated 1916. There are three other red ink seals on the picture, at least one of which is probably from the art dealer who originally sold it. I realize that seals are very difficult to translate, but if anyone wants to have a shot at deciphering them, here they are: Thanks again! Quote
