New Members ponchoritchie Posted September 3, 2013 at 11:52 AM New Members Report Posted September 3, 2013 at 11:52 AM I'm traveling to China in October and I am trying to book a taxi journey via email. I have been reccomended a particular taxi firm but they only speak Mandarin. I have drafted the following email but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to check it for me before I send it. I have completed a begginners Mandarin course but my knowledge is sketchy at best :S Ritchie Thanks in advance Quote
fanglu Posted September 4, 2013 at 01:32 AM Report Posted September 4, 2013 at 01:32 AM The email gets the message across. Before asking how much, I would ask if they are available. Having said that, there are a lot of taxis in Datong. I wouldn't bother pre-booking, unless you have some specific requirement. Quote
szcube Posted September 8, 2013 at 04:53 PM Report Posted September 8, 2013 at 04:53 PM The email is just fine. But why not call a cab instead of pre-booking.Because you want to visit several places ,I suggest that you just call the cab then. Quote
