lonny tao Posted September 7, 2013 at 01:16 PM Report Posted September 7, 2013 at 01:16 PM I have two Chinese gift envelopes with Chinese characters. I want to do money in it and give it away. One envelope has a big character long live with some smaller characters. A few of these smaller characters I can read but what means the whole text? Better photo was not possible, picture 1. The other envelope has four characters in the middle, also translation needed, picture 2. Quote
Altair Posted September 7, 2013 at 02:51 PM Report Posted September 7, 2013 at 02:51 PM The first is: [福如东海] fúrúdōnghǎi May you have) good fortune as (boundless as) the Eastern Seas! [寿比南山] shòubǐnánshān (May you) live as long as the Southern Mountains! The second is: 生日 快乐 (with the flame of a birthday candle at the top right) Happy Birthday! Quote
