Could anyone please verify the meaning of that Tattoo. I`m a bit worried that its one of the "I like Chicken with onions" kind of tattoos.

Thanks in advance.

I guess it probably means to wish you have a lot of pleasure and happiness. Looks like an idiom but not so sure. Seems like there's a word on the right? Can you also show that?

Hi there, thank you for your help. No theres no word on the right. Thats the beginning of another tattoo. Does anybody know the exact definition for the single character?

喜气福望,喜气 Festivity 。    福,good fortune 。  望,hope or expect。I  think it means Festivity and good fortune will coming soon.

Actually, there is no such word "喜气福望" in Chinese. And it does not comfort to the rules by which we coin words.

But, even it does not exist, just looking at those four characters, my instinct would tell me that its meaning is related to festivals, happiness and luck.

Looks like four characters with positive meanings put together:

Joy

Qi

Happiness

Hope

People often tattoo one of these, this looks like someone got greedy and tatooed four at once.
