in_lab Posted March 18, 2005 at 05:37 AM Report Posted March 18, 2005 at 05:37 AM My computer is set up to handle traditional characters in windows. I want to use an FTP program to browse file names written in simplified characters. I tried using NJStar CJK Viewer, but none of the encoding options seemed to work. I still haven't explored every option in the program, but I wanted to see if anyone else has any suggestions for viewing the file names. Thanks. Quote

in_lab Posted March 18, 2005 at 07:25 AM Author Report Posted March 18, 2005 at 07:25 AM The Microsoft webpage says that's for Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server. I'm running Windows 2000 professional. I guess I should just be able to add "Chinese (simplified)" in the regional settings control panel, but you need a CD for that, and I don't have one (this isn't my computer). Quote
