Book Chinese Driver's license test

Where can I find a book in English to study for the Chinese Driver's License test?

I have all the papers that I need and I can do the test any day. I only need to study because I do not know their question style or where the rules differ from North America or Europe.

btw: I am in Zhejiang province. They had in the bookshop the Chinese book for Zhejiang province, but where not able to find either an English version or a version for another province. Even not in the computer to order. If they had had a book for another province they could have checked for an English book for another province. And Amazon.cn also didn't help...

Hi all,

Its becoming increasingly difficult to get Taxis in 济南 these days, so my wife has bought a car. She's converted her UK driving license to a Chinese license by taking the theory test in Chinese. She wants me to take a test too in 2 weeks. 山东 doesn't allow translators as the test can be taken English.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I too can't find the English translation of the test questions. Mike's link on that other thread is no longer valid.

Pete, did you find a valid link?

I used the following book, for what it is worth:

99% of the questions were easy to understand. (Edit: it would be nice if somebody could explain what it means that a line is a 'lane oriention line' question 547; I got this one on my exam and believe that I text was differently worded and difficult to understand; I must have given the wrong answer there)

After studying this over and over I got a 95% score and passed.

About 75% of the questions I had no doubt about what the right answer should be. So i wrote down any question that I had wrong or that I doubted, and than repeated only those. Then I did the same for the ones I doubted again and so on. It worked apparently!

I have not found an English book in any bookshop. In some shops they have a Chinese book. In each province there are also regional rules, and some of those I had translated from the Chinese book. But I am not sure whether there were any regional questions on the exam.
