雀雀疼. What is this.

HELLO FOLKS.

So in my internet adventures today I came across a photo taken somewhere in China (photographer didn't say where) with those three characters scrawled on a wall and I would like to know what they mean! As individual characters I get it but idk what freckle or sparrow pain is... A quick internet search leads me to believe it might have something to do with babies and peeing but if that's the case idk why someone would choose that to graffiti on a building??

Anyways, I hope some of you can help me out and hopefully the answer isn't something too embarrassing. :D

Cheers!

I am from Jiangsu province, very close to Shanghai city.

At first, I do not know the meaning of 雀雀疼, but I thought this word came from some dialect(local languages people speaks in china, it is quite different from mandarin, for example Cantonese).

I searched the internet by the Baidu.com, and found that 雀雀 here means testis or penis in some dialect. I do not mean any rude, I just explain this technically.

So 雀雀疼 means testis hurts.

If you really think it means somebody's testis hurts or penis hurts, you do make a mistake here!

This could be an adjective or adverb. If taken as an adverb, it usually means “very very very“, for example, 闲得雀雀疼 means very very very bored; If taken as an adjective, it  means something very very annoying.

My English is poor, I did not explain this well.

If any problem, my Skype number is huang87975716.

No, you explained it very well and it makes a lot of sense to me now. :D Thank you so much! Yeah, I thought it would be very strange if someone had written on a wall about their penis hurting... ha.

Another question: would 闲得雀雀疼 be appropriate or ~normal~ for a girl to say? I know that kind of thing is sometimes different cross-culturally... :)

I said that 雀雀疼 is dialect, people around China prefer 蛋疼. It means the same but more is widely used by people.

It is OK for a girl, I think. But do not use it in formal occasion, only for close friends.

I am wondering where the wall is, it is quite interesting, haha
