Joey Pang tattoo translation

Is Joey Pang famous?  They don't look very good compared to David Beckham's Chinese tattoo.

Those at #6 are 樂 (happy / music), 新 (new), 武侍道 (I assume that it means 武士道/bushido.  This is no good at all.)

I dislike Chinese tattoos, but IMO those are beautifully written.

Beckham's Chinese tattoos are pretty nice—but I prefer these simply for their thick, brush-like ink-work—which is not a statement on quality in either direction.

As for your Chinese tattoo, in addition to whatever input you get from this forum, I recommend you go to a nearby campus, find the Chinese department, and ask some teachers to give you a translation—teachers who are native speakers. Seeing as tattoos are costly and permanent, a second, third, and fourth opinion isn't a bad idea.

I find it really hard to believe these are tattoos.

If they are then wow I am impressed and that's saying something from someone who hates tattoos but I don't understand how they were done to get that brush effect.

It looks just like someone has taken a big brush and written on their bodies. Does it wash off? :)

Shelley, as far as I know, the procedere is that you have an original and mechanically transfer that onto the client's skin, then follow that with the needle. So I guess if you have a good original artwork to start with, and the tattooist is skilled enough, there are no limits as to what you can do.
