ChTTay Posted November 10, 2013 at 12:02 PM Report Posted November 10, 2013 at 12:02 PM Anyone play (or played) Badminton in Haidian district, Beijing? I live and work around ZhongGuanCun. I was originally planning to play at Tsinghua University (where I used to study). However, I was told recently there is always a long waiting list - up to 2 weeks. I've tried searching online (in English) but haven't had much luck that way either. The Capital Gymnasium pops up quite a lot but it seems a bit far. Can anyone recommend a good place to play? Can I just turn up? Quote

fenlanren Posted March 28, 2014 at 01:02 PM Report Posted March 28, 2014 at 01:02 PM I used to play a lot of badminton when I was studying at Tsinghua. It is true that you have to book the courts pretty early, but you can also try other universities. I also went to Peking Uni. and China university of geosciences. Beijing sports university is also a good place, and near that along xinxi road on the left if coming from the south there was a huge commercial badminton hall. Dont know if it is still there. Quote
