skylee Posted November 29, 2013 at 08:56 AM Report Share Posted November 29, 2013 at 08:56 AM Refer to pages 11-12 of the manual. To change channel 01 from "450.175M" to receiving frequency of "450.250M" and sending frequency of "450.750M". STEP 1 - When "Power" is off, press "FUNC" , then turn "Power" or "Volume" clockwise to connect to power. STEP 2 - The machine is in the mode for setting the receiving frequency. Key in 4,5,0,2,5,0. There will be a beep when you key in each number. STEP 3 - Press "PTT". When you hear a beep, the frequency you keyed in is recorded under the channel shown. No need to follow Steps 4-6 if the receiving and sending frequencies are the same. STEP 4 - Press "FUNC" and switch to the mode for setting sending frequency. A "+" sign and the current receiving frequency are shown. STEP 5 - The machine is in the mode for setting the sending frequency. Key in 4,5,0,7,5,0. There will be a beep when you key in each number. STEP 6 - Press "PTT". When you hear a beep, the frequency you keyed in is recorded under the channel shown. To clear the channel, press "SCAN". Hope the above is useful.
