Some kind of pendant in the box

I received this as a gift some time ago. It's a little red box (similar to matchbox) with something that looks like a pendant inside. Does any of you know what is written on the box and what it it?

Sorry if the "letters" are upside-down. I have no idea where are top and bottom.

Gold for prosperity and jade for safety. Also, good wishes to you. That's the gist of it, as for what it is... if it's long enough to put around your neck, it's likely a necklace. If it is only long enough to go around your wrist, it's probably a bracelet. If it seems too short to do those things, it's probably for attaching to your cellphone. Cheers.
