Do Slam Poetry societies exist in China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan? A friend asked me today about starting one up here in Chengdu, and that got me curious. Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong probably have them in English. But are they any conducted in Chinese? If there are, are there any noticeable differences from how they are conducted in the west?
