Rai Posted January 10, 2014 at 11:01 AM Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 at 11:01 AM Hey. I have many Chinese friends that play StarCraft 1. 星际争霸. It is an extremely old game it came out in like 1996. So unfortunately it doesn't support Chinese language unless you change your entire system language to Chinese. I've been trying to make an excuse to change my entire computer to Chinese language anyway to force more "immersion" but no matter what version of Chinese language I have set in Windows 8 I still get things like this popping up in these gaming programs and StarCraft. It either becomes a bunch of weird unreadable alphanumeric symbols like this: And if it they aren't the weird symbols from above it is just a bunch of "???". The weirdest thing of all it that my computer can still display the characters. I don't understand. And all the language packs are installed to my knowledge. Here are two other images for your reference. Thank you for your help.
