First of all, I'm very sorry if this is not the right place to place such call for help. All I need is to know the meaning of these sentences written on a sweet-shirt.

My goal isn't to learn Chinese, I only need to know the meaning of what is written. I attached 3 images for the same characters, just in case something isn't clear in on of the pictures.

I tried to identify it my self, I even figured out it's Chinese :).

I have no experience in Asian languages at all so I consider this step alone, a big step :D

Your help is much appreciated, thank you for your time.

特別養護老人ホーム - special care elderly home

喜樂苑 - Kiraku En (the name of the home)

Re# 4

Hard to read each character.

But it seems the last character were the same. 人

Thus, it is not poem.

No poem will use the same character for each line.

It looks like many persons’ names on the stone.

The top character of each vertical line is their family name.

One line contains 2 persons who sharing the same family name.

Those smaller two characters are their last name.

The rest of characters indicate where he/she came from.

I just wondering the setup story (including the year/date) were written on the rightmost/leftmost lines.

Guillermo, please start a new thread next time on different pictures.

Then you will have your own feedbacks about your unique thread. Thanks

Hello :)

I inherited a Chinese (?) painting, but I don't know anything about it. The painters name is written on the back of the painting, but in Chinese, so i hoped someone could help me translate the name.
The painting was my fathers, so i would very much like to know a little something about it.

Thanks in advance,
Andreas

"人民引导自由" -李伟 2000.8

I'm very curious to see the front, since this seems to be a take on the famous "La Liberté guidant le peuple" painting except here it's "The people guiding liberty (lit. freedom)". Artist is Li Wei.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Attached is a picture of the painting. As I said i know very little about the painting, except that my father came home with it after a trip to China and hung it on our living room wall. Now it hangs in my apartment.

One of the most common surnames + one of the most common given names? Yeah, there are probably many more well-known Li Weis than there are on that list, and that's assuming this painting's Li Wei is actually well-known. A name like that must be a mixed blessing, you become very hard to find, which can be good or bad.

A google image search doesn't turn up any hits either so I have a feeling this is not a particularly well-known painting.
