DanWang Posted January 21, 2014 at 11:51 PM Report Posted January 21, 2014 at 11:51 PM Hi! I have been looking to become an English-Chinese interpreter in the future and thus researching about interpretation programs in the U.S. as well as China. The major obstacle right now is that I can't seem to find opinions from people who have participated in the programs at University of Maryland. UM has a pretty young program and I want to know more about its reputation, structure, staff quality... I called a few days ago and they, predictably, gave me the standard response that is not particularly informative. Any thoughts from people who have been through the program or have friends who have went through or just know about the program somehow? Quote
