InkyPaws Posted January 24, 2014 at 08:58 PM Report Share Posted January 24, 2014 at 08:58 PM Hiya people. I was given this by my grandfather many years ago. Last year when I started to look into restoring it I discovered that it was seal script. The first character is dual/many but the second one is throwing up nothing in translation pages or with Chinese speakers I asked. Can anyone help? skylee Posted January 26, 2014 at 01:27 AM Report Share Posted January 26, 2014 at 01:27 AM It is 弎多, ie 三多 (read from right to left). It means three abundances. It usually means lots of fortune, lots of years (longevity), lots of sons (多福、多壽、多男子). It can mean abundances of other things in other contexts. It is also a place name in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
