New Members akschoeck Posted January 30, 2014 at 05:10 PM New Members Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 at 05:10 PM Hi there!I have this image a friend gave me.I was hoping someone might be able to get a translation off of the figures on the end. A Hazi/pinyin and English translation would be preferable. I have tried using handwriting tools online to figure it out, but I just can't really read what is on there to try and write it.This is a picture that a friend gave me to try and get a translation from. I can try and get a better picture if needed in the next day or two. Thanks!
skylee Posted January 30, 2014 at 10:15 PM Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 at 10:15 PM First those costumes are Korean. Second, because of the lighting some of the words are not clear. Those on the left look like 天下大將軍 "great general under the heaven". The ones on the right also have 大將軍 “great general" on it, but I am not sure what the first two characters on top are. If you don't know any Chinese, what is your friend's point in asking you to translate them?
陳德聰 Posted January 31, 2014 at 06:04 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 at 06:04 PM One on the left: 天上大將軍 One on the right: 地下女將軍They're oldschool Korean gateguards that have a "male" and a "female" one.
