I purchased a vase with the following mark at the bottom and was hoping that somebody could help me with identification. skylee Posted February 11, 2014 at 01:09 PM Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 at 01:09 PM You should rotate the picture clockwise by 90 degrees. The stamp says 洪憲年製 (made during the Hongxian year). Hongxian is the name of the reign of Yuan Shikai, who tried to steal the country by reintroducing monarchy (he being the emperor) after the revolution in 1911. His "dynasty" lasted for less than one year (1915-1916).
